History of Mammut
Mammut Industrial Complex is one of the largest manufacturers of heavy and semi-heavy vehicles in the country, which was founded in 1370 by Behrouz Ferdous. Mammut started its activity with the production of light trailers and sandwich panels.
Since the middle of 1375, this company decided to make its product portfolio more specific and wider.
Relying on modern technologies and detailed research and studies, Mammut turned to the production of various types of heavy trailers, dump trucks, and various cabins, and for the first time in the country, its products were covered by warranty.
Mammut continued to grow and in the early 80’s started building all kinds of structures, sheds and metal structures, as well as tanker trailers.
In the middle of the 80s, the Mammutys completed the construction and equipment of all Irancell telecommunication sites, and at the end of this decade, they took over the exclusive sales and production agency of Scania. This great achievement was entrusted to Mammut Diesel.
In the early 1990s, Mammut took an important step to advance its long-term goals and launched Pilsan with the aim of producing and supplying low-cost tractors and trailers in the country’s market.
It was around 2014 that whispers of this company’s entry into the passenger car segment were heard, and finally in 2016, Mammut introduced the Volkswagen brand vehicles to the country by establishing the Mammut Khodro sub-category.
However, this cooperation did not last long due to the imposition of international sanctions against Tehran, as well as the introduction of the car import ban law in 2017.
In this limited period, various models of Volkswagen, including the Golf, entered the market, and the image and quality of German products remained in the public’s mind.
The import ban law expired after four years and Mammut Khodro again decided to launch the products of foreign brands in the country’s market.
Imported Jetta cars are a joint product of Germany’s Volkswagen and China’s FAW, which have recently become available to customers.
Mammut Khodro has also taken over the official sales and after-sales service of imported cars from the Renault brand since 1402.
Mammut continues to operate strongly with its subsidiaries Mammut World, Mammut Trailer, Mammut Connect, Mammut Khodro, Maksht Motor, Diyar Khodro, Tigard Motor, Dima Diesel, Vera Diesel, Pilsan, Atin Part and Atin Khodro.

The entry of foreign cars into the country’s market not only introduces the public to modern and new products and technologies, but also improves the quality of domestic products by creating competition.
Social Responsibility
In today’s world, the responsibility of companies is not limited only to the group they cover, and they should play a role towards the environment and society beyond the interests of the organization and legal requirements.
It is also necessary to use the result of economic progress and the use of resources and facilities of their geography in order to promote knowledge, community culture and support the deprived and charities.
The ever-increasing growth of the population and limited resources have made the concepts of development acceptable only by considering sustainability, and failure to comply with it puts the future of companies and organizations in doubt.
In fact, in the current situation, the role of economic activists in improving living conditions has become very prominent.
Considering this importance, Mammoth Khodro Company has formulated and is implementing social responsibility in all three areas, i.e. environment, society and employees; In this regard, he has cooperated with the Nikan Mammoth charity as a leading charity and serves this institution in any field he can.
