Bahman Motor Company was established in the last months of 1331 AH under the title of Iran Gulf Joint Stock Company with an initial capital of 600 thousand Rials and in order to carry out operations related to representation and transportation matters, including sea transportation and the right to work for commercial agencies.

It was registered. According to the Establishment License No. 1620 dated 8/2/1338 of the Ministry of Industries and Mines, operating the motorcycle assembly factory since 1350 and after completing the preparations related to increasing the capital to the amount of 400 million Rials, assembling three-wheeled vans with a capacity of 200 kg.

The beginning and then the subject of the company’s activity changed to manufacturing and assembling all kinds of Mazda vans, including models 1000 with a capacity of 500 kg and model 1600 with a capacity of one ton.

The name of the company, according to the decisions taken by the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders dated 3/17/1350, from Khaleej Ko Company to Mazda Automobile Special Joint Stock Company, on 4/6/1363, Iran Vant (Special Joint Stock Company) and then in On 12/12/1370, it was changed from private shares to public shares and on 4/28/1377 to Bahman Group.

After changing the subject of activity and the name of the company to Bahman Group (Public Stock) in 1377, Bahman Khodro Center (Iran Vant) continued to operate as a strategic business unit (SBU) with an independent structure.

Since 1378, in cooperation with Mazda Company, the production of Mazda F, Mazda 323 GLX and Mazda 323 FL vehicles has started.

In 1381, during the conclusion of a contract with Mitsubishi Motors of Japan, the company was able to produce all kinds of cars, and the company also succeeded in receiving the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18000 ISO/TS 16949 certificates and acquired 16% ownership of the shares of Saipa Automobile Group and achieved the first rank on the stock exchange.

In 2012, Bahman Group was recognized as the country’s exemplary industrial unit and one of the top 100 companies, and entered the two-wheel drive market with the production of two-wheel drive vehicles (SUVs).

In 1385, the company produced the Mazda 3 passenger car and entered the passenger van market with the production of the Narun van. In 1386, Bahman Group was introduced as one of the top 100 companies in the Tehran Stock Exchange.

In 2018, the company produced the new Mazda 3 passenger car and Single-cabin and Double-cabin Capra vans. In 1389, the production of the new Mazda Souri 2 and 3 was started and the Four-star organizational excellence award was received in the field of human resources.

Also, in 1391, the production of the Mazda Souri 1600, B50 and Mini Truck cars started in the company, and in 1392, Bahman Center Motor became independent as Bahman Motor Company.

In 2013, with the goal of increasing the domestic production of automotive products, self-sufficiency was achieved with the production of Kara 1.7 and Kara 2 vans.

In the same year, Bahman Motor Company received a 3-star reputation certificate of the National Car Quality Award from the Iranian National Standard Organization ” AINQA “.

Since 2015 and following the handing over of the company’s shares to the private sector, there has been a significant change in the process of the company’s development activities.

The company’s new strategy is based on the development and improvement of production infrastructures, increasing production and using more of empty capacities, increasing self-sufficiency, improving financial indicators, creating diversity in production products, dynamism of subsidiaries, gaining the maximum satisfaction of customers through optimization.

Making and increasing the quality of products, providing after-sales services and providing cheap and accessible spare parts are on his agenda and he emphasized on accelerating the execution of implementation plans. A series of development measures were carried out, in 2016, with a 100% increase in production and ranking 47th in the top 100 companies of Iran.

Since 2017, with the imposition of cruel sanctions, Bahman Motor Company, despite creating many restrictions and problems in international interactions, has taken steps to find and cooperate with new partners in defining automotive projects.

In continuation of the activities carried out, in the field of new product development in Bahman Motor Company, since 2016, the B30 passenger car production project with the goal of mass production and a high percentage of internal manufacturing, according to the capabilities and capacities of the company’s major shareholders, in order to enter the passenger car sector Economically, it was defined and implemented since 2017 with the joint cooperation with the Great Wall-brand Haval company, the production of SUV product HAVAL-H2 and the limited supply of HAVAL-H9 took place.

Regarding the Haval brand, we can mention the largest SUV manufacturer in the world’s largest market (China). Since 2018, despite the increasing pressures of the automobile industry boycott, Bahman Motor Company, in cooperation with Sukon and Jetor China, has put the production of Dignity and Fidelity passenger cars on its agenda for production in 2019 and 2019.
